no because some charaters (i.e. eirika and alanis) fight with swords or magic so they would naturally be at a disadvantage against characters (i.e. mio and aesford) that fight with their fists in JUST a fistfight

Victoria is assuming that they don't want to damage the ship by using all their powers. While previous fights show the ship would be fine, Victoria doesn't know about those.
