Let me ask, Is ghost man A physical or Ethereal entity? If Physical, the Barrier would stop him. If Etheral, that means he's a spirit class and Magical things can still affect him... He'd have to go through the floor.

Either way, Enough with the powergaming.... If anyone really wants to try the barrier route again, It's gonna need a roll of 3d6+Syn+Bonus (aggressor) vs 3d6+RES+Bonus (Defender)

Ghost Man is sort of on a different plane from those things. Like how would you define ItE? And would a barrier be able to stop her?

ITE exists on two planes of existence, The mortal plane and her own. And yes, the barrier would affect her.

I would make a comment, but it would be filled with invective about ignoring the actual stats and ability language.

The issue is that you try to use the barrier to completely control where we can or cannot move our characters, which is not something it can do if you're going to the stats argument.

Yes, but you should resolve it the normal way, i.e. combat rolls against it or opposed DEX to get past it when it's being made or something, not by completely ignoring how the ability works.
