I pretty much used Victoria as a template, I'm seeing an overall total of 3 stats boosted at a +1/level rate on her sheet. I'm pretty much considering the weapon/armor/shield as a full ensemble rather than individually.

Also, I did go back and fill in numbers. Let me know if they look too high/low.

Does Analytic reset when they stop using the same action? I'm probably going to look at Victoria's levelling equipment too.

Okay, so what nerfs do Alanis need? I'm thinking to remove all Action Bundling, and replace all damage formulas with one of the standard Hit Harder ones that are in terms of Basic Attack as a starting point.

Why on earth didn't I think of using Monster Hunter for weapon inspiration, Victoria could have been using a Light Bowgun or something  :P

Say, would Haruka know Victoria, or were they from different universes/cities/whatever?

6AR was being faithfully rendered into the game, but being metal does not make you impervious to getting stomped by a big-ass hyperboot. Maybe he should just get gud at FPS. :P

The guy who stepped on AR6's head had a special gravity-altering boot unique to his class, which was the reason he was able to crush a droid head in one step. Anyone else who stepped on AR6 wouldn't have done much more besides leave a dent.

Also, Penelope is proving too resistant to the existential effects of the device, while Wilson will likely be scarred for many years. We need more test subjects, especially people like Victoria, Sandra, and Alanis, to test the machines out. :P

I will say that while there are all sorts of nasty implications with this life simulation, the most mindfucking part for me is that whether you're living a cushy upper class life or witnessing violence and destruction on a regular basis, this all happens with the perception that game-time is moving at the same rate as real life. So you can experience every single second of a 90-year existence in the matter of about 30 real minutes. For example, while none of what happened to Wilson occurred outside a virtual space, he still has his whole memory of being a child soldier from the age of 6 to 18.

I would, in fact, like to put Alanis through the VR...

Why do you want to give the magical girl MORE trauma

And/or existential crises

Penelope attempts to glitch the game, accidentally activates Harem Mode that was removed from the menu (but not code), awakens to harem of Wilsons

Well, without going into spoilers, Penelope's life has enough of a disconnect from what happens in the simulation, and she's wholly aware of its fake nature as a result. It's hard to have an existential crisis about it when you know full damn well it isn't real and your real life is completely different from it.

I'll put it to you this way, would you rather the other PCs fight a Witch born of teen angst like all the other ones? Or one that is a living, existential crisis given form? :P

Alanis is probably resistant to the existential crises, actually.

Too much prior roleplaying to be fooled.
