why would there be a point where extra DEX gets another action if such is not stated at the outset
that'd be pretty out of whack

but there isn't a need to give the stat extra stuff at all, it already governs init and ranged weapons

*sigh* What did I miss this time, Did I miss first combat?  Also, I was not informed about the freeform combat, which I am incredibly unimaginably disappointing to hear, but will not complain much about.

You did not miss first combat. This is first combat.

I THINK Elf mentioned freeform for minor battles ahead of time. Somewhere, at least. Pretty sure large battles can still into stats.
