let alone the dubiousness of having a force-sensitive battle droid in the first place
That's not the issue, there has been a droid jedi in the expanded universe.

Also, can someone find the turn where Ian was magic locked? I'm looking, but can't find it. I need to check if the flirt goes through because it's not an attack or if the lock was on all SYN actions.

Of course, Twin is neither man nor woman but an unholy eldritch abomination like every other Bay12er. The difference is they hide it better.

I don't have a problem with the concept of a force-sensitive battledroid, even if it doesn't hew exactly to canon, it's not the technical bits I'm worried about. But the Force isn't good IC justification for meta-info, which is where I take issue.

There was one Force-sensitive droid in the EU, and that particular story is of questionable canonicity.

But yeah, you're not allowed to just be like "yo force who's this guy"

Yes, it's rather annoying to have someone have what is essentially a supernatural all-knowing search engine when half the damn plot is supposed to be a mystery story.

I repeat: Where in the setting has an actual Jedi just directly and seriously asked the Force for answers? Because that's literally not how it works.

I don't think it honestly matters if there are force-sensitive droids or not in star wars canon, it's not like character concepts in this game have to be limited to canon. Like I said, the only thing I think is a problem is the asking the Force for info thing, because that's constantly, constantly asking for extra info and often a source of metagaming, which is pretty irking.

Okay, disregarding whether it makes sense or not, I don't exactly know how else to frame requesting Force information as anything but a question, even though it's not supposed to be and I don't want it to be.

The issue is that you can't really request Force information, it gives you info when it feels like.

Honestly I'd just ask the GM of the current plot to keep it in mind, or mechanically lay out a bonus effect for it outside of combat. Actions like "attempt to read target's mind" would be fine, I think, though.

though on that topic, force whispers is already a thing (and would be broke as all hell if this game ran more like DnD)

A one off thing does not turn the Force into a search engine.

Seriously, if they were doing it in my plot I'd drop the Reaper on 6AR. And make it do all Pure Damage so that Parry-Dodge-Block can't protect it.

Okay, disregarding whether it makes sense or not, I don't exactly know how else to frame requesting Force information as anything but a question, even though it's not supposed to be and I don't want it to be.
Elf literally just said a solution; don't ask. Let the GM give information when it's needed. Like the Force would actually do.

And if it wasn't too early in mine, I'd be dropping the Sloanes using their Final Triggers on 6AR.

Also, IIRC, Megidolaon counts as Pure Damage. :P

It's really because "The Force works in mysterious ways", a direct quote from 6AR, conflicts with asking the Force questions every few seconds like it's Google.
