No. I suppose there are similarities, but I'm fairly certain angry birds doesn't let me charge into a battalion of knights with a car made of circular saws.

Respawn. Make sure the rocket launcher is loaded, and aim it at the Metal Slime. Don't fire just yet, though.

[3] About a third of you is killed.
Hit the boss with an infectious curse that causes iron to rapidly transmute into oxygen!
[6] You kill the Iron Slime in a fiery explosion.

The Iron Slime has been killed via fire.

New True Form abilities
[Transmute Flesh to Oxygen]
[Aura of Rust]

The remains of the Iron Slime disintegrate. The True Form reappears along with the ghost of nothing in particular. The ghost enters Beirus's body.

Use the containment device to capture and enslave an eldritch horror.
[2] The containment device doesn't work on them.
Warp reality around the Avatar in such a way that it causes the spacetime equivalent of a sonic boom.
[1] You implode a few of your internal organs.
[3] Those organs are removed moments later.
Use Teleportga to get everyone away from the True Form.
[6] You teleport everyone to random places in intergalactic space.
Respawn. Make sure the rocket launcher is loaded, and aim it at the Metal Slime. Don't fire just yet, though.
[5] Done. You aim your rocket launcher at the next thing you attack, as the Metal Slime is already dead.
