How fun is SPAMKINGDOM series?

Mind-bogglingly popular game series that you follow from early on and cannot stop, waiting for new installment like a drooling addict.
Long-runner soap opera you're too invested into to just stop watching it.
A fun little comic strip in the daily newspaper that's been around forever.
3/6
Who said it's fun? I didn't for sure.
I'm just waiting here for it to die horribly already so it will stop showing on my Unread Posts list.

I'm not necessarily against grabbing Felonsein territory during a good opportunity, but this becomes an honor trap where we're locked into something that isn't beneficial down the road.

Eldrican is currently distant, and I think notably larger than us. I'm not sure a lesser daughter is enough safety after we help them get bigger and closer. And that's assuming everything goes as expected for the next 15 years or so.... I'd rather he just said territory and Fireblood straight up. Why complicate it by promising away a potential daughter-in-law slot? That's kinda valuable, and we're not getting anything measurable that our army couldn't earn without it (loaned or otherwise).

(Remember how dad refused a potentially valuable marriage offer for us when he thought the first one was still going through? Obviously betrothals are necessary for royals and good for kingdoms, but there's a lesson there about managing expectations.)

B!

Negotiate with a possible eye toward attacking Felonsines with or without a deal, our numbers are quite good and they are troubled. And a possible eye toward betrothing one of our daughters instead or additionally, a double marriage is a much stronger bond (and will at any rate be between parties that actually exist).

I kinda wish the advisor had an updated map showing the fractures in the west/south and the stories our dearly departed queen brought concerning consolidations in the north during the regency. Maybe with dashed lines to indicate the zones of internal dissent. ;D

Sound logic. I could do with an updated map too.

"That sounds like a good deal. We will march against Felonsines as soon as we can." The envoy looks relieved and even pleased.

"I will carry this message to King Elran III with haste. May Damed bless you with victory!" He quickly leaves your palace.

Then the envoy of the Shahshans meets with you in the throne room.

"Greetings, King Yoe of this land called Methiant! My master, King Shahar, blessed be his rule, has embarked upon a construction project to celebrate both his wife's 65th birthday and their 50th marriage anniversary; a splendid palace to house her and her numerous daughters and granddaughters. But there is shortage of ornamental stones, opals mostly, that were to decorate the marvelous domed ceilings and bathing pools and doors of the palace. King Shahar looked far and wide for a supplier till he learned that your Kingdom does mine such gemstones on regular basis. Do tell, would you be interested in dealing with King Shahar?"

A) "Sure, let's negotiate."
B) "No, thank you."

You try to negotiate the best price for the gems, with help of the Treasurer who gauges the pricing compared to usual monetary gain.

After a long time, the envoy wants to buy 5 years worth of gemstones for 5 years of monetary gain, if your Treasurer's calculations are correct. Not real bonus there, except maybe Shahar's friendliness in the future...

A) "That is a good offer. We have a deal!"
B) "That is a weak offer. I want more money for it!"
C) "That is a weak offer. Does your King have anything else to offer?"
D) "Pfeh, this offer is an insult! There will be no deals."

Divided by A or C.

If it was the last king i would choose C. but what if we roll a 1?

I assume (hope?) our lucky trait is at least enough so we don't mortally insult the envoy and start a war.

Still, we legit lost the first roll and I don't see any point to pushing on this agreement when our attention is turning west.

I doubt even a 1 would start a war. They came to us for a favor. Worse thing that happens is they get upset.
