@ATHATH: Oh! Ow, ow, ow. By all rights poor flabort should be very, very dead right now. I decided going in this first fight would be a learning experience for use all. A fairly simple encounter that would allow everyone else to get the hang of things. No deaths this early was always the plan, so I'll let the poor guy live. The current mess was never supposed to happen, it was either to be an ambush against the hounds or at least a battle with prior preparation.

@PaPaj: flabort is beyond anything you can do during combat (ATHATH accidentally hit him for -4 damage rather than healing him). You can move into position to help Ripple next turn, or you can move to attack the hound targeting ATHATH this turn.

@flabort: I'm really sorry, if I had remembered that ATHATH's healing ability hurt Death aligned creatures I would have mentioned it. As things stand you will have to suffer in (more-or-less) silence until combat is done. As an apology the loot from this encounter will be yours to be the keeper of (it's a party item, so it won't really be yours, but as the keeper you will get some benifits).
