Go look for a melee weapon.  Include looking for people carrying weapons, random objects, wall pipes, etcetera.  After finding something, go get it, unless it's held by the deserters.

Will join up with Rautherdir's gang whenever is acceptable. Now, after their current encounter, whatever works. Pretty sure d6 memory lets me grab the entire starting deck.

If I get to participate in the current engagement, my prep spell is "distortion dust aura." Preferably far enough away from teammates that I don't turn them into fleshy cubes.

Yep. We each get to use those.

A d4 in Memory lets you pick up all but one. So yeah, a d6 would let you grab all 11 with 4 empty slots.
Also, yes you are accepted. Go ahead and join now if piecewise approves.

Steve's prep spell summons a mechanical horse of some kind made of solidified air.  Huh.

Crazy and Papaj don't have prep spells set but if they want to do one, they can do one before their first turn.


Here's our map.

You lot are attempting to turn this old mill by the dry river into your base. Should be fairly easy. In order to this, however, you need to clear out whatever it is that is living in there. You've heard tell of some kind of haunting or monster. Can't set up shop with that around.

The mill is 3 stories high in total, made of a pale, bleached wood  and covered in half dead tangles of weeds and ivy. It was probably quite comfortable and homey in its day but now it resembles a haunted house more than anything. In front of you you can see the door to a cellar, the front door in, and a few windows set into the front of the structure. Behind the mill is the riverbed, dry and dead. The waterwheel hangs out over the dried mud.

Mount my horse, because I can. Cast Animate Air to create some air elementals. Send them through the front door and ask them to investigate the area. If they find anything, they should report back to me.
The horse isn't alive, its a mechanical thing, like a motorcycle. It just looks like a horse. Think BIG DOG if you know what that is

Work on a potential forum game for my return to Bay12. Figure out parts that puzzled me before. Find more things to figure out that I can't. Work on another game instead of solving them. Get distracted and stop working. Remember it a week or two later. Remember I'm still on hiatus. Illogically, Be too ashamed to return yet. Repeat ad nauseam.

Finally have a game completely ready. Wait a week before posting it out of laziness.

Corven sighs as he looks down at the delicious weapon in his hands.  "Ah know, Raven.  Them goons better show up soon, 'else we might havta call itta day.  I know yer talented, but I ain't throwin you into the pits alone."

He pauses for a moment, thinking before he continues.  "Stay here, Raven.  Your old man's gonna scout some."

Sneak closer to that merchant overseer to the left, and collect some good rocks for throwing along the way.  Is he armed, and if so, with what?
