Milly, not quite convinced that it was safe to look back yet, speaks from the front.
"W-we should move a little further up the road. T-there's a campsite not far from here, I-I don't want to pull into the forest."

"Ah well, I tried that's what counts~" Lilian understood the maidly honor thing... for reasons that weren't important to discuss. She couldn't help but feel the woman shouldn't have to humiliate herself due to a mistake. It was silly, but she understood. Well she was here now... What to do. It'd been awhile since she was barefoot in the dirt and grass. It actually felt rather nice in some ways. Might as well make some talk.

"Oooo ooo! What's on the menu!?" the succubus was easily distracted whenever the subject of cooking came up.

42-1, who had sat passively through the long screaming match (it hadn't been that different from Old Master's rants about one thing or another) got up from his floor cushion to check the pantry. What was available to eat?

42-1's search brings up the usual stuff; suet, salted meats, some cooking wines, some pickled vegetables and fruit preserves. In addition, there's some unexpected stuff; several Primero Loaf buns, some Penultian fish, and two jars of rice.

When Keith started waving his hand in front of Yliss, she began snapping out of her shock.

"Ah."

Then, she heard Milly talk about a campsite. Perfect!

"Alright, let's go for that campsite, then! Back into the wagon!"

She entered the wagon and looked at Lilian.

"Depends on what's avaible. Give me some time to check the ingredients while we continue traveling."

Done as said, she is inspecting what's avaible.
Which 42-1 was doing, too.

"..."
"Hmmm... Missing the seaweed, so no sushi... Salted meat isn't the best for sushi anyway..."
"Fish looks promising though... ... 42-1, if you want, you can make pastry out of the suet."

Selene, in response to all the... things, going on around her, didn't say anything. She just took the cap off her flask and started drinking something that probably wasn't water.

: "I suppose I can do that. What will you be making, miss Yliss?"

[Empiricist]

"That would depend entirely on what we have in stock. Normally I would suggest hunting and foraging for food, save our supplies for when we need it, but I'm afraid cocoa beetles wouldn't be available in a forested area like this."
"Ah, I see 42 tending to the matter. Would you require assistance good sir?"
Moving over towards the pantry Marcia picks up a glass of Cape Carp and offers it to the girl drinking from the flask.
"A drink dear lady?"

Selene, in response to all the... things, going on around her, didn't say anything. She just took the cap off her flask and started drinking something that probably wasn't water.

"....you too, huh?"

[Twinwolf]

"....you too, huh?"

"...I'm used to it, usually. But from one person, not ten."

Moving over towards the pantry Marcia picks up a glass of Cape Carp and offers it to the girl drinking from the flask.
"A drink dear lady?"

Selene shrugged.

"Why not?" She capped the flask again and took the offered glass. She didn't comment on the lack of skirt. None of her business really.

"Yeah, don't I know it. Don't think we've had a proper chance to chat in this mess."

"I'd like to use up the fish before it gets spoiled, since it's not cooked, salted or smoked. I could serve thin fish slices on a bed of cooked rice and use vegetables and herbs from both here and from around nearby to spice things up, both visually and in taste."
"I don't see a way to make some fitting sauce, though, this will be tricky. Don't see any liquid condiments here."
"Guess I'm too used to working in an actual kitchen."

"I would gnot say gno to a drink myself. Since they are on offer."

"Of course good sir, what will it be? Tinkerspear, Wolfsbane, or Cape Carp?"

"Ya'll folks seem to be really into fish. Like a lot... but no matter~ If it's cooked well fish is quite the wonderful thing." Lilian was just happy it wasn't being off of her this time, not that she minded that much. She bounced back into the wagon happy at the prospect of a good meal something she knew this party was quite adept at. It was heaven... After all, Lilian wasn't the best cook herself. She had always had trouble keeping on task and always ended up overcooking the food. Yliss seemed quite skilled at it... the two servants as well. She wondered if they'd teach her... though she was mostly interested in learning from Yliss.

After her merry stroll she plopped down back by the fireplace, after all, she had been tending to the blaze.
