When Yliss extended her hand, Keith had to take a knee - not out of respect or anything, but because he was very tall and if she wanted to pat Blobbington, the little bugger had crawled on top of his head.

"Do blobs like high places or something? Just asking."

[SirAston]

"I think it would have been fine for me to reach if you kept it in your hands... Well, whatever, be my guest."

Yliss then began patting the blobbo, brightly smiling all the time while doing so.

[SeriousConcentrate]

"I would have been fine holding him, but he wanted to get up here so I let him. Why not, right?"

[IamanElfCollaborator]

"Blobs really like to stack on top of each other, so I-I guess they do like getting up on top of things...."

Blobbington indeed enjoys the pattings, even nuzzling into Yliss' hand to accept the pats.

[Sirus]

: "I think I remember my Old Master speaking of blobs. He called them 'the only things more useless than Revivians'. Are they commonly kept as pets, miss Milly?"

[Praefectus Screptum]

"Well then, that's MPMH. Milly do you at least have a hammer around? I might as well start bending some metal for now."
That wasn't the first time he saw a blob,  but as expected he preferred to interact with Wigglers-Which did remind me he eventually needed to find himself a plant pot for a Wiggler to stay in.

[IamanElfCollaborator]

"N-not as pets, exactly. T-they're actually just as smart as us, j-just really lazy and laidback. T-they're kinda cute and aren't too demanding, so people carry them around and they don't mind as long as they're treated well and fed."
"Um...there s-should be a hammer in the wagon."

[Empiricist]

"Dear lady, is it not a servant's duty to clean one's household? Surely you would not expect that a maid to be forced to resort to subcontracting simply to clean something as petty as a small massacre?"
"One simply requires a pigfarm, a hacksaw, and the right solvents."

[SeriousConcentrate]

"I'd wonder what your master had against Revivians, but, uh... I don't think we're well liked among Generians. I guess they're not fond of foreigners."

Milly spoke next.

"Pets, huh? I dunno, I like to be lazy every now and then but I don't think I could be inactive for a long time. Gotta keep moving on, right? He is cute and all, though."

[Praefectus Screptum]

"Thanks, that will MPMH."
Jarvis briefly stood up to look for the hammer before returning to his spot, this time with the hammer and some twisted steel plates so he could get to work. Of course Marcia's casual explanation about how to dispose a body was something that did perk his attention for a moment.
"...I don't think that is a MPM requirement for a maid. Sounds more like the job for a gang member or something."

[Sirus]

: "He did not like most people, sir. He often spoke of "showing up those useless Goddesses" and called elves "good-for-nothing tarts". Revivians and blobs were simply his least favorites."

: "This creature does seem rather harmless, though."

[Empiricist]

"Nonsense! A proper servant should be more than capable of disposing of such unpleasantries. Is this really what they teach servants nowadays? I suppose that would explain the state of that wretched flock in service of the Demon Lord..."

[SeriousConcentrate]

"'Tarts'? That's like... old people talk. Like a hundred years before I was born kinda talk. Not that I can say otherwise; I haven't met an elf. That I remember."

Keith stared off in the distance for awhile. Nope. Couldn't remember a damn thing.

"Oh, yeah, name for you. Are you really cool with just being a number, dude?"

[Sirus]

: "I had not given the matter any thought, sir. My Old Master had no intention of giving me a name, for I was merely an experiment. I understand that lab animals and the like are never named to avoid creating bias."

[SeriousConcentrate]

"This may be offensive but it sounds like your old master sucks. Sounds like one of those stuck-up old bastards. Look man, you're one of us now; treating you like a *thing* is just wrong dude. You're just as sentient as this guy up here and he has a name."

Keith pointed at Blobbington.

"How about we throw some suggestions at you, and you decide what you want your name to be? For starters, what about Orion, or Cepheus?"
