"Except for the fact that you are kind of a predictable bore regarding combat banter. Live a little! If someone says that you fight like a dairy farmer, counter with 'How appropriate, you fight like a cow!' Being at the top makes so much more fun that way."

"I didn't even get to fight him."

"The way I see it, you don't waste your time talkin' when the enemy needs to be beaten. But....a real fight....that's what I live for, banter or not. And to think I thought the vampire was the one I'd have to worry about....."

But it was a wrestling tournament, so Keith walked over and put a boot on the baron's chest for the three count.

"Knowing him, he'd be down for a 1-on-1 rematch at any time. Although expect him to be even better than me with doing one-liners and badass boasts during combat. Where he comes from, that's as important of a skill as knocking out your opponent."

Then Keith did a very Keith-y thing. Yliss gets down to the floor and begins counting, slapping the floor with each count.

"One... Two... Three!"

She stands up again.

While the quite profound, important, and unskippable, post-battle conversation with the main villain of the incidents progresses in the earnest, other, more minor, meaningless things are happening in the background. Like Momotarou being low-key disappointed.

"Oh, crackers. I wanted to KO him..."
"...although good job, anyway, Jarvis. Meeting you made my day... hey, is that..."

Momotarou noticed a certain, familiar goddess in close vicinity.

"...hey, it is actually you! Divine Serena! You with Jarvis and rest? I wouldn't expect a Goddess to be actually travelling with some mortal adventurers... unless..."

The wandering fool stopped fooling around.

"...well, unless something mighty important is happening, or going to happen. Just my gut feeling.

...but not for long.

"Hm, you seem somewhat prettier than I remember from when I got reincarnated here."

[SeriousConcentrate]

"Thanks Yliss."

Keith left the baron be now that that was done.

"...Now what?"

The Baron simply groans, accepting his defeat without a word.

The two merchants approach the group real quickly.
"Hey listen. We're gonna go now, but uh...it was nice helping you guys out! Real nice helping bail out my old boss, too. By the way, we'll leave you our contact details. If you ever need help in the area-or if you just need some nice bread- you know who to call."
"Oh, and uh....Rio-san, if you're ever in Methiant again, you're welcome to come to our bakery. I'll be sure to have some cookies ready for you. Think of it as a gift from someone who understands."

Asahi and Benedict have been added to the Contacts.

With that, Asahi and Benedict run off quickly towards the exits.

Serena, meanwhile, looks towards Momotarou.
".....who are you again?"

Jenkins approaches the Baron, still wielding the Nailclipper, a sinister glint in his eyes. Well, at least one of them. It's hard to tell sometimes. But with Jenkins it's a safe bet at any rate. "And to the victor go the spoils."

Selene winced a little as the healing hurt her, but got past that quick enough.

"Thanks for the help you two." she said to the merchants before they ran off.

"Honestly... I keep thinking these chaotic situations are going to go bad, but then you guys just go on a rampage. It's kinda ridiculous."

Momotarou isn't suprised by the goddess not remembering him. Not that much thinking is needed to recognise the fact that such goddess might need to reincarnate numbers of people... needing multiple digits... weekly... or even daily. So he just went full ham.

"I am known by the name of Momotarou Kyouji - if following the order of name-then-surname - reincarnated in this world by You Yourself, Goddess of Water..."
"Owowowie..."

Momotarou tried for some fabulous arm spreading during his speech. Too bad he was still kinda out of shape, courtesy of Sirocco.

"Crackers, I'm still too beat-up to ham it up properly, by that loud... what was his name anyway? I require heals, if you please. I can feel my HP being quite red."

"That still doesn't ring a bell, buuuut....since you asked so nicely and gave me the respect a Goddess deserves, I'll grant your wish."

And, indeed, Serena heals Momotarou pretty well, patching up the beating he took from Sirocco in a flicker of a hand.

"Honestly... I keep thinking these chaotic situations are going to go bad, but then you guys just go on a rampage. It's kinda ridiculous."

"From a Revivian's perspective, it seems even more ridiculous, really."
"... That reminds me... Healing inflicts pain on you, right?"
"You got hurt because I wasn't good enough."

"Now we get our intel, and plan for what has yet to transpire."
She nods towards Lucifer.

"Yeah, it kinda does. I'm kinda... allergic to healing magic, actually? So it burns me when I try. Really though, if I minded I wouldn't be doing it."
