Ahhhhhhh.  She was rightly afraid of you regaining even a fraction of your willpower.  I would really like to know what remains of the rebel fleet, probably gone but who knows.

I would suggest: [You currently serve Magnus then.  Consider which side you, and he, would like to be on in this war.  You have seen the power I can wield at an ignorant fraction of my skill among backwater simpletons.  In the case of a fight here and your loss, I will either escape or come up with some plan for victory.  Either way Magnus loses out.  If you stand aside and help fight off the plague you can at least keep an eye on me and sabotage me at a more opportune time.  You might win and reset or destroy me, but then you will face the plague alone for however many years.]

Bah I cant reduce it down any someone else come up with something better.  Its basically better for her to stand at our side with a knife then stick it in at this point.

Option 2 is hijacking their ships but the level of automation the current fleets use is unknown to me.
Option 3 is orbital mines filled with the [plague] highly distasteful obviously, but an option.

Honestly the planet is just too primitive for much of this to work.

We must fight. It doesn't have to be to the death, but a hierarchy of Willpower must be drawn between us. It is our way.

Phoenix let's you feel it then, an ancient bloodlust that resonates between the two of you. A will to dominate the other, to beat them. To win. It's the same determination that gave you the strength to rip your arm off, to devour it, all to continue fighting.

It is ancient, older than the Line, and it echoes from deep within.

I hate PMs because I can't edit them. So many grammar and bad word choices. Why am I like this -- and why doesn't this software I have help correct that! -.-'
I'll get you hooked up Zultan. Although that is the last one.

[-] You both take your time, provoking one another. Your will whips through the room like a raging firestorm, fierce and energetic, burning upwards with buoyancy. Her's is dense and spreading, like oil, like tar, making the room heavier with its presence. William and Emma have to back away, both growing pale. The Null that accompanies them looks ill -- then falls to the floor in seizure. The Warmachines and Crusaders cannot stand it, passing out from the exchange.

"[Did you think it would be that easy?]" Iyal questions, lifting a brow.

"[I had hoped so, yes.]" You respond. The glass window behind Iyal begins to crack -- particles of dust are stuck suspended between the two opposing forces, inertia and gravity cancelled by the exchange.

What curious creatures we are... I would rather have words than war with this one, but it would seem the two go hand in hand with our kind.

Arrange your duel, Phoenix-of-Sol. Somewhere far from the mountain. Explain to your successors the nature of the duel, and promise-- promise to Emma-- you
will return. You need not fight to the death. Tell her so.

I think she already explained that most fights are deathless
[Why not work together against the plague? Surely it threatens all of us. Let’s fight it instead of each other]

Their will is weak-- secondary to our own. They cannot aid us.
This is a matter of honor now. A clash between demigods. If we are to earn this one's respect, we will face her
alone: by our own skill, by our own power. She'll bow to nothing less.

Not to mention if we tell them to aid us in will-crushing, Iyal will hear it and have a few moments of warning. Can we communicate with E and W telepathically?

Let's say that our will would need a strength of ten to overpower Iyal. If our will has a strength of eight, and if Emma and William each have a strength of one, that would mean that our combined strength would overpower Iyal, even though the Thorntons are much weaker than us.
