Sunny walks away from the boring crater who wasn't much of a good conversationalist, and then attempts to strike a conversation with the earth.

"Wow that crater must be a pain, he even had the gall to hit you!"

"Hey guys it looks like most of these people were stabbed with something sharp enough to go right through their armour."
Be on guard and stay with the group.

"Well, this sharp, murderlance is sharp and murderous. And ten feet long. And similar to our very potent Needles."

"And Tess said there are many of these depressions around, similar to this one we found this lake filled with murdered corpses and this lance in."
"Genesis, be careful with that thing! I briefly looked through my needle toward the hole, and it is nasty. I only looked briefly, to avoid ending up like Grey. All of the dead here were killed by what we are here to fight."

Aaron looks through his needle at Debby's new armor, and at Genesis in general. If everything looks normal, he goes and pokes at the pile of armor with his needle. He also stays well clear of Genesis's reach.

Aaron gazes through his needle at both the Lance and the old armor. The lance is...nothing. Throguh the eye of the needle the lance is literally negatve space. Not even a blurry black blob or anything, just...nothing. Its like the space it occupies has been  yanked backwards away from your sight and the area around it has stretched and collapsed inwards to fill the space. It is a crease in the fabric of reality. And it hurts to look at it.

The armor is almost the exact opposite. its visible but only as like a white cutout of its shape.  Reality seems to buldge out away from it. Huh. This one doesn't hurt to look at though.

Sunny, bored by these events, walks out of the crater and tries to find a good place to speak to the ENTIRE EARTH. Thankfully, she's interrupted when a figure steps out of the forest and into the clearing. Its a woman wearing a blue robe with a gold design of a book with a hand reaching out of it emblazoned on her chest. Beside her is floating a metal cube about the size of her head, slowly orbiting.

"So thats the game, huh?" She asks no one in particular, staring down at Genesis and the others in the crater.

Glove chasing continues. And it will continue for at least another 20 or so hours at the pace its going. Remember, the villiage was several days worth of walking into the forest.

Aaron, completely unable to make sense of what he just saw through his needle, decides the intruder is more of a pressing problem than strange magical effects.
He quickly climbs out of the hole a little ways from the woman, brandishes his needle, and attempts to know who she is, and what she is here for.

Grey addresses Hugh and Tess. ”I’m going to try as skipping ahead close to where we’re going. Either of you want to come with?”

Time for a bit of magic. Grey directs Hugh to follow his movements, slows down to a stop and starts following the glove again, walking at first, slowly transitioning to jogging and then running. While doing this, Grey Maintains the accelerating rate at which Grey and Hugh are safely traveling to his intended destination, which is a point that is one mile short of wherever the glove is going. He will spend 2 fate points on this spell as it's slightly hazardous.

For the spell's logic, because Grey intends to keep following the glove and then stop once he spots the place it's going, I believe that's sufficient for the spell to bring him to one mile short of that place. If you see it differently (lord knows this Maintain magic can be disorientating for me at times) then modify the destination to be exactly where the glove is heading.

If anything tries to kill Grey before or after he stops moving, he spends 1 fate point on staying alive.

(maintain your needle's position relative to the glove monster, then we can all teleport to it when it comes to a rest)

Ho! Ho! Ho!  Of course!  What do you have in mind?

Hugh keeps pace with Grey while waiting for his answer.

After speaking with Grey, Hugh goes along with Grey’s plan (grabbing Tess and carrying her under his arm if necessary).
