I still can't see how they assisted a ban dodge. Assisting a ban dodge (in my opinion) would be helping someone dodge a ban through circumvention of forum security.

On their behalf? Sorry this is my own personal opinion on a new situation. Im not sure of the details of Dasleah's banning, there for I have not participated in the chat.
I am referring to new banning which have occurred, and I am very confused and worried about it. What Rules of Conduct btw? I dont see this in the rules. -_-
(who is Pathos btw?)

and btw, I think the warnings he mentioned were warnings given on a forum level and not privately.

I was thinking more along the lines of this legendary champion, all clad in dented and dinged up steel plate, his blood-drenched axe slung over his back, a notch in the handle for every enemy that saw the swing of that blade as the last sight they ever saw, a battered shield strapped over his arm... and a fluffy, pink stuffed hippo hidden discretely in his breastplate.

Well, the problem is that they can be considered as being from the same "side" as Makrond and Dasleah, having admitted to act on Dasleah's behalf in actions organized beforehand, having admitted to being warned about it several times, and still carried on.

Believe me, I'm sad to see Retro go too, but, honestly, what the hell? Toady tells you to knock it off, and you keep at it.

It's not that bad, it's just something that you disagree with Toady on. There isn't some sort of conspiracy here. You think he's wrong, and it's possible he hasn't thought the whole thing through.

@AoD and mnjiman: Carying on their argument on their behalf, thus acting as a loudspeaker for the banned person, is usually seen as circumventing the ban. AFAIK, Dasleah trolled the "Things that made you X" threads into banning himself simply because he didn't like they existed. Toady says there is precedent for Dasleah using the other three as relays, something Retro more-or-less admitted on his own.
I'm not sure on the details, since I've only recently become active, and have no knowledge of the Lower Boards' history.
