Yeah, I tend to let my hair grow out to keep my ears warm over winter. The beard is the result of shaving laziness. I think I prefer it short though... I was shedding more than the cats do, and clogged the drain at least twice every time I take a shower. :I

I think that if you did some layering, you'd actually do better with the slightly-longer hair :I

I'd actually like to do long hair, but it looks really bad from behind and above... the thinning stuff is way more obvious when it's long.

And I'm ever-so-slightly self-conscious about my early-to-mid-20s balding.
