So. An interesting aspect of Turtle armor is that with a couple people you can very easily kill the Dungeon Guardian. Doesn't drop anything of note, but it's still rather amusing.

2. Lock taskbar to the right side of your desktop.

has anyone used any of the mods? do any mods add significant crafting options?

after i go below a certain level, platforms don't seem to work. I dont have a grappling hook yet. are there any other options for mining deep? i use dirt to climb up, but its a bit of a hassle.
it seems like as i go deeper, there is better ore and loot and harder mobs. generally i go deep, and then save and exit to respawn near my house.

also i saw that you can throw torches down a cave, i tried right click, left click places them how do i do this?

You can place torches and platforms freely on places with background walls. The dirt layer has a dirt wall that you can break, so you can place platforms freely there, but at the rock layer there is no wall, so you will have to attach platforms next to a placed block or other platform. It's a bit more of a hassle than in the dirt layer, but certainly beats stacking dirt.

You could always place platforms on background walls. Torches, though are new to place there.
Speaking off, the new torches are ugly as sin :/

Ropes are amazing for that. Just make a rope coil and toss it wherever you need to go.

They're even better than that. You can extend the bottom of the rope just by applying more rope to your rope. It just keeps going. My helivator is just one strand of rope.

I defeated Skeletron and looted the dungeon before I fought BoC. Got a Godly Water Bolt and it made BoC so unbelievably easy.

I've started work on a gauntlet temple on the surface jungle. Only two rooms done so far, and a couple things have to be manually reset. Obviously more fun without light sources.  :P

Well, I was in the crimzon area, scared A sfuck when I mined three hearts.... i got so scared I pushed A button and my UI turned off, I chouldnt hit him with my magic

Here's something interesting: Hell rooms are not considered suitable housing, unless you remove the back wall and place it right back. I guess there's some difference between natural spawned backwall and player placed, not sure if it applies to all kinds of backwall (such as those wooden underground houses) or just this one.

Btw, best way to kill the wyvern is with that Demon Scythe spell book, the stupid thing dives right into it getting multiple hits if you spam it.

Backwalls placed by the game never count for housing. Whether dirt or dungeon or hellhouses :P
