ooooooooooooo snap son

That is excellent, i particularly like how you did the fur and eyeballreflections. c:
The fingers on the visible hand bug me slightly; i think it's because they seem to be stuck on to the forearm with no visible wrist, but quite frankly, hands are complete bitches to draw entirely right (i can't get them right for the life of me). In this case though, the hand does seem to fit the (cute) style of the cutebold, so i'm probably just nitpicking subconsciously. :P

and oh man all this talk of hands made me want to try my hand at making a hand

More hands practice ahead, then. One day, one day my hands will not be annoying. *To anyone other than myself.

Did someone say hands?

Because I drew a guy who uses his hands.

that little critter looks too damn cute i swear i want one now

I've noticed something pretty neat though; everyone in here has a very distinct doodling style. I know y'alls probably noticed that 20 years ago, but i didn't really think about it before now. Jopax doodles in a painty style (usually), i doodle with scratchy cartoony lines (usually), jetex seems to favour more realistic proportions and a pencil... It's quite fancy, really. It shows pretty darn well how diverse art can be, even within the same medium. :o

also note that his buttcheeks look like fists

Also also, i've set out on a silly quest to doodle 5 faces in my sketchbook every day. That means i'm occasionally going to bother you with the ones that turned out reasonably well, such as this guy:

hurrah for faces!!

Also don't ever forget to experiment every now and then, new styles, new approaches, get yourself out of your comfort zone. While it's scary as fuck it's great for inspiration and generally getting better.

Also I think I'm finally happy enough with this to post it here. Still largely unfinished tho, a special birthday present for a friend :D

Cool.

And nightmare fuel, but cool.
