I've been meaning to get better at representing different body types in low res. Decided to try a bit while working on a game concept.

Tall and Short Variations

Sorta happy with how these came out, but they need some work. The Androgynous sprites were another experiment; I figure they can be assigned to either male or female characters when randomizing, letting fewer sprites go farther, and doing a bit to step outside the binary. Animating 54 possible sprite variants is just stupid though... I'm hoping to reduce the work by just animating arms and legs, and making all non-torso parts as generic and reusable as possible.

ShadowHammer, I like the snow scenes! Vector art gives me a headache sometimes, but I like that style. Also dig the Warhammer sketches, Cheesecake! You've somehow made it cute. o.o

It was snowing today, so I felt like making some snowy art.

It's snowing in May? Northern Europe or Antarctica?

Those are quite nice! I like the style, but I'd recommend you try to raise the head slightly on the fatter model.
And speaking of pixel art models, here are some I did some time ago:

Tried out something new today. I looked up a picture of a raven and, without looking away or picking up my mouse, traced it. It turned out pretty well, though I had drawn the beak first and I needed to fix the leg a tiny bit. It's recognizable as a bird at least, which is better than I normally do.

Hehe, yeah. They're very well done.

That's pretty cool, interesting idea for a challenge/learning thing.

Thanks! Though I did little more than take the notes and mess with several VITs.

I wouldn't know enough about music editing to tell. It's still really good imo

I find this eel to be inherently trustworthy. I would like to invest in his(?) business. Will my life savings be adequate?

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Hee~ This. :P

But really. Shook, you made the expression very fine. That eel looks like a cheery face, or a -very- subtle chap.

Also, I am happy to have the connection to view all the art here once more ._.
All the nice art...

E: Hey Shook! Given all the dapper-theme you've got there, you thinking about making a dapper compilation of random doodles? :P
