1: Teachers only work for 1/2-3/4 of a year but most get payed year round.
2: Being a garbageman is not inherently a... Ah... Unskilled labor? It is a hard hard job after all.

I am totally unsure why you think that. It looks like it would take a lot of skill.

Around here they have like 15 seconds to grab like 75 pounds of shit and put it away before they need to be to the next area. Some of the moves I have seen them pull are pure art.
