Ummmmmm, I'm assuming that's a joke but it still qualifies as a motion according to the rules and as such needs to be included in a list of motions open for voting for your votes to count.

I make a motion that no player be allowed to edit any post with the exception of the original post. Furthermore no player is allowed more than two consecutive posts. For the purposes of voting this motion shall be referred to as b_boy_212's motion to keep things linear.

I cast my vote in favor of b_boy_212's motion to keep things linear

b_boy_212's motion to provide incentive : 2/0
b_boy_212's motion to provide a win condition: 1/3
GreatWyrmGold's motion to improve our parliamentary procedure: 3/0
GreatWyrmGold's motion to force us to think of a more interesting example: 1/ 0
Harry Baldman's motion to deformalize voting: 0/2
b_boy_212's motion to avoid conflict: 2/1
b_boy_212's motion to fix his mistake: 2/1
b_boy_212's motion to tidy up: 2/0
b_boy_212's motion to keep things linear: 1 / 0

I make a motion to reject R003 and R008 in order to simplify voting. For the purposes of voting this motion shall be referred to as Helgoland's Second Motion.
I make a motion to reject R003 and R008 in order to simplify voting. For the purposes of voting this motion shall be referred to as Helgoland's Third Motion.

I cast my vote in favor of Helgoland's Second Motion.
I cast my vote in favor of Helgoland's Third Motion.

(Are we supposed to add our own vote to the number in the list? I believe having the OP do that would be better.)

I cast my vote in favor of b_boy_212's motion to keep things linear.
I cast my vote against Helgoland's Second and Third Motions, and question the logic of having two identical motions.

The third motion was supposed to be different, but I made a copy-paste-mistake.

Yes you do add your vote to the list, the whole point of R008 was to split the responsibility up among players.
