..No.  I joke about it sometimes, but I don't do that intentionally.  Maybe I spend a bit too much time on here, but it's not about the number of posts I make.  It never has been. 
(Okay, maybe this type of thread is the kind of thread where I post for posting's sake.  I'll try to tone it down a bit.  But seriously, it's not about postcount.)

I browse via Unread Replies, and I tend to refresh that pretty quickly, so I tend to come across new posts really quite quickly.

I think that's what brings my number of posts in these sorts of threads really high.

Nah man it's OK. Sorry if I got a little heated back there.

You see, you remind me of myself when I joined the forum: posting a lot, eager to try out all sorts of forum games and stuff, and perhaps getting a vague sense of superiority over a high postcount. (I wasn't sure if you were joking about that last bit or not, see.)

I tried to make a name for myself by declaring myself the "Bay12 wizard" and * all of my red text "actions" involved spells somewhere; I loved the Pathos meme; I parroted the "humor" of everybody on Bay12 purportedly being insane; so on and so forth. I also, not coincidentally, looked like an idiot back then.

I suppose I saw you making a bit of a fool of yourself with your postcount obsession and wanted to prevent somebody else from being the doofus I realize I was. I overreacted a little back there; sorry about that.

Oh, and on the topic of crossposting, it's OK to crosspost emotion thread stuff a little. But you do it, like, daily, and we don't need to know that [X] both made you sad and go "WTF".
