It looks good, but I would recommend giving everyone 5 or 6 free population at the start so we can expand rapidly in the first few turns.

I would also like to be able to set the spawn point at a different point on the spawn island (for instance if I was red, I would want the city to be 1/2 tiles farther south, if I was pink 1 left or 1 right).

Looks pretty good to me, though that upper left corner is gonna be a real hotspot for the two players in that area :P

Shove me down for any color. I don't particularly care, but I'd prefer White, if you have it.

Player colors are editable iirc. I might make my own map in a bit- put some theming to it, and post it here or elsewhere. I doubt I'd be actually running the game, but mapmaking is cool.

I think the iron is probably a little thin on that map. Remember, iron mines only give 1 iron a turn now. And the earth and life islands are probably too valuable.
