You hit it in the face with a fireball. It flies off, and now it seems like the Ridiculous Mountains are open.

Nearby things: a sign (rather illegible), a phoenix, a rabbit, a forest of trees, a path.

The sign says '       th             re       wizard{'. Its a rather useless sign and you collect its remains for materials.

After awhile, you've not caught the rabbit. But you did manage to grab it with one of the cyborg frogs while sitting atop the Robutt, so you throw it at the pheonix. The pheonix ignores that and sets you on fire instead, which also makes the bucket smoldering and the alchemical bag a darker shade of brown. The robutt is not particularly affected by your sitting on it while on fire.

You dump the bucket on your head to put yourself out, then do what you should've done earlier when you saw the pheonix and fireproofed yourself for the most part. The phoenix is offended by you not being on fire and sets you on fire again, but its not quite the problem it was a minute ago.

Meanwhile, theres an adventurer walking towards you. He has a sword, a hunk of wood nailed to a flimsy cloth hat on his head, and an absurd pink glass flask holding something that is probably not meant to be colored red in his left hand. Theres also a dozen more (half-sized) ones strewn about his belt and a sack that either is full of rocks or gold, you're too far away to hear the probable clinking.

After he makes it to you, you make the offer to him and he gladly accepts the challenge.

...Unfortunately, he seems rather inept at this sort of thing. So inept infact, that the phoenix was looking away from him and he still failed to sneak up on it. But at least you were able to retrieve his sword with one of the frogs.

You see that bird come back and add another notch on the board before flying off again.

You manage to steal the fire successfully, and the phoenix leaves annoyed. You can't steal everything though, you wouldn't know where to start.

Another adventurer is nearby, this one fairly armored.
