"Hey, why don't you take this sweet necklace as a down payment?"

EDIT: For clarity, that's a bribe.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

I think I will abstain from voting this time. All of these options seems just as bad as each other.

"Hey man, be cool, let me get you some new bling and we can forget all this hassle."

So, just to be clear, they are both the Duke of Hell and the count of Dystopia?

We need to kill them. These titles are too awesome to let pass.
We won't get their titles if we kill them. Remember the rules? Only one piece of land per person, not counting influence that you may have as regent or cooperation in a marriage.

Week 10 Continued: It's a Secret!

And all the land south of the river but they don't need to know about that yet.

The inconvenience of... ruling our province, I guess.

I have no idea.

Naturally, neither does she and we have no advisors. TIME TO GUESS!

Aw, can't we haggle?

The answer is probably no, we can't.

We have failed... what, nine skill checks in a row?

I have a feeling this isn't going to end well.

Refuse. We almost definitely don't have the money anyway, based on the amounts we've encountered so far. We're going to end up fighting them anyway. So yeah, we're going to lose either way, but I don't want us to lose just because we've lost so much money that we're starving to death.

I vote REfuse, anything in thousands is crazy money!  Ten times the cost of a printing press is 100% more than I care to pay some snide Ixian bastards!  TO WAR!

But we are the law! :,( (also, I love how fitting it is when taken out of it's normal context)

I vote refuse, I really want to see how the war happens when we are fighting with equal means.
what are you talking about, I'm not trying to get us killed, I never mentioned I didn't like her in some transparent text no one probably saw, that's nonsense.

Words of wisdom for our reign in general, really.

Well now we have to decide what to do instead.

Wait, we can offer him money again? I'm tempted to vote for that just to see if it comes through with the same dialog options. :P

Assuming that's not what we want to do or it's just a shortcut on your part, I'm going to go with Bluff/Intimidate for now.
