This will always be the defining 40kest 40k there is for me

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Plus the whole notion of Eldar being dicks when jolly cooperation could've easily avoided everything is in that intro

All right, here goes.

A battle in the background between Chaos and the Imperium, with the Imperium having IG and Space Marine present. A single guardsman can be seen dead directly in the foreground on the left. A titan can be seen in the far right corner facing a greater daemon. There is a space marine next to the guardsman holding a power sword held at rest facing the fight. Above it all, a Battleship (name a class or faction) can be seen through the clouds. It should be clear that the Imperium is losing the fight.

And, to top it all off, an Imperial Standard should be readily visible somewhere in the foreground.

Whether or not this is horrid I cannot say. All I can say is that I would like to see this.

It was quite brutal actually. Who knew you could suffer major head trauma from undergarments?

Space marine should absolutely be a salamander. The IG should probably either be a handful of corpses, or a single guardsman close to death.

I think it would be awesome to have a comedy of Guardsmen operating a basilisk

So all the amazing, reality-destroying stuff is happening far far away, whilst the Guardsmen hear about it over vox beads or strange lights in the distance, remarking about their personal lives whilst delivering endless pie templates a world away

A commissar must be included, dark humor is necessary and the occasional heresy would be appreciated with this.

Yes, this could be very...interesting.

If it existed. Which it doesn't. And won't.

Alright, in an attempt to kickstart discussion once more, I will ask a question; what faction in 40k is most likely to win? I fully expect to answer to be long, complex and possibly include theories on nuclear fission.

Entropy.

In the long run, Entropy will win.

Not Chaos.

Chaos too will die.

Likely: Tyranid, Imperium

Plausible: Ork, Necron, Eldar

Implausible: Dark Eldar

Impossible: Tau, Chaos

That's not true, the Orks are plagued by a critical lack of dakka. It haunts their nightmares, or it would if they had that sort of thing.
