Massive amounts of armor checks, is the usual answer. Otherwise known as the "Goblin Shortbow" theory from Warhammer Fantasy. Or alternatively "Death of 1000 Paper Cuts." Given the odds if you shoot enough dinky attacks that can still wound, they will eventually fail their saves.

Hmm, can I cast psychic dakka out of vehicle?
Also, can pask give orders to his own tank crew?
Do saves like disgustingly resilent or uniyelding ancient work, when you get mortal wound?

2. Tank orders are 'Friendly Leman Russ, No characters'. Pask is a character, so no.
3. Yes.

From what I understand, the fall of Cadia caused a new Eye of Terror to form and split the Imperium in two. How is this going to impact the 8th ed lore, do you think? Will half the Imperium's planets fall to Chaos or Tau or Tyranids? Or is it just gonna be one of those "perpetual brink of disaster" parts of the canon?

To be fair, splitting the Imperium in two is pretty significant galactic plot-driving stuff. Hopefully they use this to differentiate Empire of Man from Imperium Secundus so we can have 2 aesthetics and double the lore, double the model lines, double the prices

The novel "Dark imperium" is basically set about a hundred years after the indomitus crusade ends.
Basically, it worked, Chaos got pushed back, Cadia got reclaimed. Not even sure if "the evil scar" or the dark imperium on the other side are still problems.

Primaris marines are perfect, the Bangles and Swoofs have 0 mutations.
Roboute also threw out the codex astartes, and is planning on writing up a new better one.
Until I guess Cawl or his heretical AI does something silly like making a bundle of traitor legion Primaris.

Imperium Secundus is a real thing now? So Gulliman is ruling from Macragge with his Primaris Marines, and the HLoT are trying to maintain control from the Imperial Palace? And fucking it up, as usual?

Imperium Secundus isn't likely at all. Roboute was immediately named leader of the whole Imperium and executor of the emperor's will. A few high lords were tossed out of office, but it's more likely they'll be the rebels than he.
Macragge is basically where former Chapter Master Calgar sits in polite exile whilst Roboute grooms Cato Sicarius as personal bodyguard and possible successor.

In Shape of The Nightmare To Come he becomes the Emperor of Ultramar and rewrites history to say he created humanity, so...yeah.

Basically, Sicarius is the Ultramarine who is most like what Matt Ward wants the Ultramarines to be. He's inflexible, haughty, and treated like a hero when he shouldn't be. Even by the narrative, sometimes. Human life is nothing next to ever greater glories of Cato Sicarius.

And it is this person who was once set to take over the Ultramarines and is now possibly set to take over the entire Imperium.
