A wide crescent blade of glass launches at Mallos and spectacularly bisects him. After the glass shatters on the wall, his still burning upper half drops into the pit.
Mallos is dead.His legs transform into a white mist and enter Thrakor. Quite a <3ly feeling.

Gigas takes off and runs to the Magma Cavern, while trying to summon himself a weapon.

He summons an image of an axe that he simply runs through. Crap. Gigas does manage to get to the Cavern through the surprisingly narrow entrance. Beirus, however, manages to catch up.
