Actually I'm kinda curious as to why it died so quickly. Usually these kinds of things tend to last much longer than this. Or at least rack up a higher post-count given the usual suspects that play them. What in particular about Crimson Sands was so unsuccessful?

actually it was pretty all right in terms of activity until Projeck got busy with irl and couldn't start plot stuff until now

I don't know. 8 per thread is not stupidly high, but it's not scraping the bottom of the barrel either. We've had games with smaller playercounts that still lasted longer.
