"I opposed it all because the trait prices are too cheap or expensive. The cost multiplier proposal seems like it'll make things a little too cheap. Also for the rune magic thing you actually need to create rune magic."

Tick 1.5: The Something Now

The Everymind creates 500 unnamed one-eyed bipedal sophonts on the terrestrial world and gives them a small green cube with rounded vertices (The Everymind: -2E). A mine explodes nearby, injuring a few of the creatures. Numerous rocks appear around the creatures and explode, killing them all!

(Axt: Confirm spending 16E? This will bring you down to 0E, causing death)

Axt hides in the gas giant.

Zurion creates a richly wild island named Gnu on the unnamed terrestrial world. (Zurion: -2E)

Isgon creates healthy populations of magnificent eagles and owls.

Xenia praising the mountains rouses them from their sleep, causing them to rumble and geologically awakening the corresponding world(s).

Proposal: Rune magic works by codifying certain traits or properties written in divine language, and then pulling energy from the local leylines/background magic/True Source/etc to enforce these properties upon the objects so inscribed. Mundane stones, metals, and gemstones can hold more energy than other materials, in that order. More stored energy = more powerful enchantments. Active enchantments must have time to recharge after use, passive enchantments will slowly fade if totally isolated from magical power but otherwise require no upkeep beyond making sure the runes themselves are not damaged. It requires nothing more than a steady, precise hand and strong materials to function.
