Dek stops running, takes out a primitive looking gun, and then fires it as if it were a machine gun at the beast. After a few seconds, he throws it down and drives his sword right into the beast's leg.

The beast thrashes in pain! It doesn't seem to be shooting out beams while the lion is clenched onto its back.

In the distance, while the fighting is going on, a lone beam of energy from the dinosaur hits the remains of the blue face.
The ashes absorb the energy from the beam and begin to shudder, and the face reforms, but is now the size of a dwarven foot.

Barely able to hover, it begins approaching the village. It tries to stay hidden as best possible. This isn't very difficult for it, because it's as big as a dwarven foot.

He takes out a grenade, and throws it on the ground, and it explodes with no explosion, but a monsturously blinding flash of light.

The terrible lizard is momentarily dazed, stumbling backward off Dek!

He gets up, reaches for his gun, and shoots.

The face absorbs a small portion of the flash from behind a rooftop.
