How fun is SPAMKINGDOM series?

Mind-bogglingly popular game series that you follow from early on and cannot stop, waiting for new installment like a drooling addict.
Long-runner soap opera you're too invested into to just stop watching it.
A fun little comic strip in the daily newspaper that's been around forever.
3/6
Who said it's fun? I didn't for sure.
I'm just waiting here for it to die horribly already so it will stop showing on my Unread Posts list.

A) Pantheons are so two centuries ago. We don't believe in that superstitious junk, we want good clean wizardry.

No, check that. No need to take chances with a decade of misfortune.

Both A & B if possible. Else A for preference.

Maybe we can go on a quest and get killed and have another civil war.

What? We specifically chose NOT to do the burning of the city. Literally because exactly what happened. :/

B.

You're deluding yourself pretty hard if you think a wizard isn't approprate here. Or even isn't appropriate back for Yoe II

I mean about looking for wizards for basically everything. Trying to find a wizard drove Cyl's father mad.

No, he was cursed. A wizard could have saved him. But he rolled a series of really bad rolls.

I know this delusion helps you avoid thinking of any potential consequences of your actions in the civil war (oh, look Segeda is trying to control us, what a surprise). But that's how it happened.

...Haspen has literally told me that he added the wizard thing as a troll option that time. That is what I am going off of.

Well, even given that, if we didn't roll a series of bad ones... We could have summoned a fricking wizard! That's always a good thing anyway.

It's seriously backward thinking to look at a game like this, see a roll of like 1, 1, 1, and say "Well, that was the wrong decision"

Either way though, do you really think it's a troll to ask for a wizard when the sky is red, our magic scepter is dying, and the priests are saying it's the end of the world?

Maybe this is all in the kings head! Maybe thinking about it will cause mental illness (because that's how mental illness works too!) and maybe the wizard can't cure mental illness specifically brought on by thinking about wizards. It's their secret kyptonite.

Too bad Luath is dead. Because it seems Cyl is totally fucked if that's true.

No, in this case I think the option is a legitimate one and I was making a joke about the wizard obsession that you took too seriously and saying I was deluding myself :P

I still don't think it's the right one - the wizard seems the high risk, high reward option, and coming out of a civil war, high risk is not something we want.

Do you not think we need an high reward option in the face of the end of the world?

(I'd also argue that wizards are typically pretty low risk actually. They put the king in direct danger normally, but they don't ask for us to put the kingdom at risk.)

A fair point - and normally in such a situation, the risk would be lower. If we hadn't just gotten out of a civil war, I would vote A. But we did - and losing the king so immediately would be terrible for the kingdom, maybe even leading to it tearing itself up in such a way it can't recover from, and I don't know that we have any options of new rulers if Cyl fails, unless we were allowed to put one of Cyl's sisters on the throne. Also, other nations will see this as well - who knows if one of them will seek a wizard?
