How fun is SPAMKINGDOM series?

Mind-bogglingly popular game series that you follow from early on and cannot stop, waiting for new installment like a drooling addict.
Long-runner soap opera you're too invested into to just stop watching it.
A fun little comic strip in the daily newspaper that's been around forever.
3/6
Who said it's fun? I didn't for sure.
I'm just waiting here for it to die horribly already so it will stop showing on my Unread Posts list.

I'm honestly just confused that everyone either thinks she was a witch, or an angel. I'm not even sure how these opinions formed, I think it's pretty clear that she was very much average on the evilness scale, wasn't even that manipulative since she gave up after the first try at manipulating... I believe it was Cyl? Honestly she was just kinda bitchy, and that somehow escalated into her being a witch. Kind of amusing.

Edit: Also, didn't the rebels actually lose due to Haspen thinking they had decided to do something which basically could be summed up as executing random people, something along that lines. Maybe Luath was a good king after all, he was just influenced by the rumours that Segeda was a witch and felt like it was his duty to his kingdom to save it form what he thought was a witch, but a mis-communication or manipulation by other rebel leaders ended up dooming his rebellion, despite having his heart in the right place. Maybe he was just a manipulative bastard. Maybe I'll even look at the population's differing opinions of him when he rebelled, likely ranging from 'Hero' to 'Fool' to 'Devil, since no side is truly evil and it's all a matter of perspective. Anyway, I'll shut up now.

not really an angel so much that she helped give birth to one of our greatest kings we might be at the very least respectful for that and yes she was a pain but not enough to call her a witch

You ask him for a song. He introduces himself as Tywynn and swears he will play the sweetest of songs for you.

Quote
5*

As Tywynn plays for you, you feel more and more sure of the fact that he isn't as good bard as he seems to be! It looks to you that it is the plinkings of the harp that are making his music better... and him more charming. Other noblewomen giggle and stare at him as if he was a shiny trinket, but you're folloed no more!

You invite him somewhere more secluded, and once the youngster falls into your trap, you push him for answers. He takes his hat off, bows like a jester and grins sheepishly.

"I was once an adventurer, and yes, this harp seems to be enchanted. I've been much more successful with maidens and wenches since I've obtained it... Lady Empress being one of few those who haven't befallen to its charm." You scoff at him. How many women he has wooed with the help of the harp? How many families did he disrupt?

"Dungeon or execution, then? After all, you've tried to bewitch a married woman and an Empress of Methiant." The Bard grimaces and hastily falls to his knee, the grimace replaced with unsure smile.

"Anything for you, Lady Empress, even for free, just... spare me that date with your executioner."

You demand that...

A) He becomes your court musician and charms your political opponents into submission.
B) He tours the Empire and uses the harp's magic to soothe your subjects' spirits.
C) He leaves the Empire and never comes back, if he wants to keep his harp and his life intact.

AHA! I KNEW IT! Hmmm. A, since it could easily prove quite useful in the diplomacy period after and during our integration of Cydwyl. I change my vote later on.

a) never use it near me or my family got it
and after your death let doge inherit it
Edit: See the post below yours. It also makes it harder for other people to quote your post since they need to delete the post you quoted. And actually, it would be far too obvious if we just kept using a harp in diplomatic meetings, so maybe we make it something that our court musician inherits, after each court musician dies it's passed onto the next one.

Mind control fuckery is too scary to keep this close. We have our own mind control amulet as well, after all, do we really need his magic as well?

Honestly I'd prefer to kill him or something. But given the options, here we go.

dit: Also, didn't the rebels actually lose due to Haspen thinking they had decided to do something which basically could be summed up as executing random people, something along that lines.

Yup. The rebels lost because Haspen misread the orders that the rebel team voted for and played the worst card possible, the Urban Massacre, which costs a lot of loyalty at the same time the loyalist team played a card that attacks the loyalty of the rebels, causing them to instantly loose.

As for the rest, yeah, it's basically just opinion based. I still think it's clear Lauth probably would have been a better king for the kingdom mechanically, but any sorta characterization you want to apply to the characters and their actions is subjective.

We ought to confiscate the instrument as well, but perhaps we're a bit under the spell than we think we are. To be truthful, I am more interested in how he came about it. I mean, I still think Ruberta should eject him from the kingdom, but still.

Just think what would happen if left this vagabond about the court... He might seduce our daughter, or worse yet, our husband!

Eeeeeh, I personally prefer the Lucky trait over the Charismatic trait, but not by a lot. Also, I actually forgot about our amulet. Switching to C, let's not have more mind control stuff than we actually need. Let him be someone else's problem.

smart plan I cast my vote to you d) consficate his magical item
Actually, D would be a very nice option. Then we make sure he never becomes our problem again. Still, I would suggest you keep voting C until D actually becomes an option, if it becomes an option. It's not very often that he adds another option because of our requests after all, and I for one like making sure my votes are still relevant.
