The only MH game I ever played was the one they released on PSP.
Monster Hunter Unleashed or something along those lines.

First time i've ever seen anyone in DF2010 survive a brain injury. Seriously, he did not die. Later on, a second third FOURTH blow to the head killed him.
Once I stabbed and kicked a bandit's head in over forty times, so I said "Fuck this" and just slit his throat.

Since headshoots was mentioned, at least one of the 100 ways to die HAS to be "Hit by a giant rat leather backpack with enough force to be propelled back into the far wall and explode into gore from the impact."
