Multi level marketing is a pyramid scheme disguised as a job, you pay to enter, and you get money by getting others to enter.

What makes me sad is the growing prevalence of both extremely LibLeft and extremely AuthRight political ideologies. This scares me. I hate both anarchism and fascism with a burning passion. One of them doesn't work, the other "works" but kills or ruins the lives of millions of innocent people. This will lead to the downfall of society if it continues.

I'm saying this as an authoritarian leftist who doesn't even support full socialism.

Please define anarchism
Wanting the state to be abolished. Most combine it with a generally left-wing outlook which is why I put them under "LibLeft".

I agree. I really don't like anarchism as an ideology. It's just... so alien to me. I couldn't imagine myself living under it. I am myself content with capitalism (with some amount regulations) and I would fight to defend it if the alternative is submitting to anarchism or communism. "Normal" socialism is more tolerable to me though.

Anarchism should be a means to an end, not its own political ideology.
Cleaning the slate and leaving a brief period of anarchy before new, less stagnant government(s) can form? Fair enough. Trying to effect some weird society where everyone just joins hands and governs themselves without everything going to heck? Hmmmm yeah I don't see that working out too good.

...Anyway, I don't have any particular, pressing Sads of my own right now. Just the usual background Sads.

See you have this unique opportunity to get healthy and wealthy, but most importantly, all of your friends too!

Someone I went to university with contacted me after 4 years of never talking and pitched me one of these. I lived in a different country and didn't have a bank account. Clearly the best choice.

They did it again when I got married - guessing I was more stable, or something.

Anyway, if you're anti-anarchism, I recommend giving anarchocommunism's definition a quick read and anything about coalition by Noam Chomsky for a good idea of what the philosophy really is. It's appealing to me, but in the way most political philosophies are - idealistically.

Yeah, anarcho communism is overly idealistic to me and doesn't take human nature into account.

Yes, but also all forms of government.

I find it interesting that humans seem to not agree on what is best for the species, designing an AI aligned with humanity can be difficult since different groups of humans seem to want different paths for humanity to tread, whether it be political, religious, other ideologies...”human nature” might be different depending on how the humans in question were raised, both genetics and culture play roles in the development of a human’s “programming” personality

Disclaimer: Not a psychologist or an AI researcher. These are just thoughts I’m having right now
