You want to actually try the challenge on a terrifying glacier, with just a pick and a mushroom?

I'm not saying I would survive more than 5 sec, I'm saying that Urist is suicidally overconfident.

Accidentally travel to the past while escaping from goblin crossbowmen, and be trapped there until he can find a DWR that can produce 1.21 GU and a slope long enough to get his minecart up to 88 MPH.

The logical thing would be to not initiate a war with the elves. Instead, wait for the elven caravan full of overly amazing goods to reach a trade depot, then seal them in and apply water and/or magma.

...Obviously Urist would instead run up and kick the first elf he sees in its adamantine clad shin.
