Throw a tantrum which eventually causes his owner to die, causing him to throw more tantrums, kill his dog, and ultimately become the last living inhabitant of the fort.

(Was originally going to go for a reference, cancelled it but not the name.)

WWUD if he was the last living thing in the world?

In contrast to the obvious choice, the carp would be friendly with the dwarves and live well for centuries, due to all-but-identical ethics. There is one difference, and it is concerning the treatment of dwarves. After 1049 years of worldgen, war breaks out and all is lost.

WWUD if the earth, sky, and sea-even-though-it-already-is-made-of-them were all made of carp?

Obviously he would take shelter in stone, periodically opening a specialized firewall port made of bridges to get forum access.  The system eventually crashes when someone accidentally pulls the wall switch, turning off router power, when Urist McMechanic is typing his irate reply.

edit: WWUD if he needed access to an item on the opposite side of a 75-Z chasm which was spanned by a fifteen-tile-wide stone, smoothed, masterwork engraved constructed bridge with traffic designations set appropriately for safety purposes?
