Having trouble getting a server running, Avast is set to allow terraria, and port is forwarded on the router, I missing something obvious?

Also I have a copy to give away.  I'll figure out some way to give it out fairly later.

what ip are u using?

Not using hamachi, and I'm using the IP i get from whatismyip.com.    I can't even connect to myself oddly, it keeps saying something along the lines of taking too long to respond.

Taz might just have the theme set to ye olde mode. The new visuals cause problems with some games.

Also, I'm a worthless beggar, does anyone happen to have a spare copy?

Thinking of buying this, read through some of the pages of the thread.

So concise feelings on it? Is the dev going to support it more or is it pretty much finished?

The short answer: Support it more.

The somewhat-longer answer: The devs have stated they expect to be continuing to support, enhance, and expand Terraria for at least a few more years. Paraphrased, they intend to continue to build upon the game for as long as there's a community that wants them to.

They're definitely going to iron out the various bugs that have popped up with/around release and finish fleshing out the current biomes in the immediate future.
