Right now I am trying to get Silver plate and greaves so my character can be the Silver Knight.

But I lament trying to dig for it... the HORROR!

Also I am sad my Necroarmor lost its speed effect... and gained some weird effect that makes no sense.

I know it randomly spawns if you've over certain hp and haven't beat it yet...

The game needs more random events as is anyway, bosses randomly showing up would be nice.

Whatever the boss is, you have to have it be able to go through terrain, otherwise it's too easy to abuse things and beat it.

Just give it some attacks that go through terrain. Otherwise one of the best places to fight it will continue to be a boring stretch of flat ground.

Sentient ticked off meteor sounds like the way to go. It could fire meteor heads at you. Triggered after mining a certain amount of meteor.

Or possibly summoned by killing enough meteor heads. They have to come from somewhere, right?

Yeah, plus meteor heads drop meteorite ore again (I think? I've seen a chunk or two drop when nobody was mining) so that's just another reason to just farm them.
Just imagine some guy sitting on his meteor farm, cutting up meteor heads left and right when suddenly...

Possibly the remaining core of the meteor rises up and starts attacking you, and shatteres into its ore when killed. (could work as long as theres a couple seconds of 'omg move away from it' invuln.)!
