We could always just build part of the wall (say, a weak point) out of bricks.

It's not like the world would end from building it partially out of bricks and the rest out of wood until we get more bricks...

I'm not sure about using bricks for houses. Making houses stronger than your defenses is... well... you get my point, right?

Which part of the wall is/would be weak, however?

Feed tame Jaian, if needed.

Would sharpening rocks be worth it? I recall someone earlier mentioning sticking sharp rocks onto sticks with slime gel.

In any case, I have calculated that at three meals a day, we have less than a days food.

now that you mention it a brick gate house for the bridge seems like a good idea. Oh  hey We could use planks to make the Gate house into a kind on mini watch tower.

They only need breakfast and dinner. Thats really just to make things easier to keep track of. (Lunch may be required when I decide how many turns are in a day though)

Hmmmm... perhaps 'weak' was the wrong word.

"Place we expect to be assaulted the most" would be a better term. Like, the wall facing the direction of where our enemies will come from (say, the forest).

Even if we don't expect a place to get assaulted more, I'm sure we all can agree that making a section of the wall stronger while the rest are weaker is better than leaving the entire wall weak, right?

we need 48 food per day then. Including the bird eggs nobody seem to want to eat we have 55 food. We should have 7 or 5 food left over depending on whether we eat the eggs. nd not counting what the jaian eats.

I think we should build a bridge to the north and remove bridge near forest this means we won't isolate any one to the east or north (once moat is complete.) and make enemies who can't swim go further to invade. Plus people who Need to go out wont have cross near the Ominous Forest

Edit: i have no idea about how much food we get or produce. and we should worry about immigrants after the whole survive the terrors of ze night.

Those three grey chromes in the middle seem pretty busy, lets get them Assembling stone tipped spears, assembly-line style, one sharpenning, one glueing, one gathering materials for it

we don't have glue. the green slime is non-adhesive non-flammeble and of mold-like compisition IIRC

I think you can make glue out of fish scales but it takes a while.

I'm not sure how stupid this sounds, but maybe we can use the Lime Mortar in place of glue? I'm no specialist, but I assume if it can work with bricks it can work with spears?

nooo that woudn't work. mortar is pretty flaky. We could use lime though i think i heard of lime based glue. Birdlime i think it's called.

 yep here we are    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Birdlime

Huh on reading that it actualy has nothing to do with limestone in any way or function so i guess we can't make glue out of limeston then.

Cut up the membrane of the green ones, wet it, wrap it around the spears and rocks pretty tight, and lash it on, then let it dry?

That might work if it's any thing like sinew
So Sharpen stones then attach to sticks using green slime skin

Have 3 members sharpen stones and assemble weapons, let the other continue preparing defences and creating construction materials
