This is a sketch of a laughing abomination thingy for a DnD-like game I'm running a campaign for. I'm going to see if I can color it in Robocorn's style, since I'll be able to unexpectedly throw this up onto the projector that they'll be looking at for the virtual tabletop when they enter the ancient catacombs of cliches.

   It was about a week ago before Brian noticed that his shadow wasn't normal. He thought it was just something he noticed out of the corner of his eye at first, that the light was just playing tricks on him, but he could have -sworn- that he saw his shadow cough. It left him feeling uneasy.
     It happened again, a bit more obviously the next day. He was in a morning lecture when his shadow outright yawned and stretched, noiseless as smoke above a fire. He blinked down at the table where his shadow was, and his shadow waved back, then pointed at the professor, before resuming normal shadow-hood. Needless to say, Brian had a hard time concentrating on the subject matter.

I redid it, but with shadows that grow lighter the further you go from a peak.
