When I was going to make my 80s sci-fi cartoon-inspired worldbuilding project, I asked a friend of mine to do some linearts for the main cast (which I would then color myself).
Took me way too long and I still have go back to fleshing out that thing, but oh well, at least I have some fancy terrible art to show off. I think I used a (slightly) different shading technique for every one of these, and it's generally awful in all of them, but oh well, I was never good at shading. :X

All made in Krita.

The (what I assume is) gorilla in the beret reminds me a bit of Russel from, well, The Gorillaz.
I've recently been very productive for someone with a concussion, and have started trying to create permutations of legionary armor for the city-states in my world building project. Currently I have one complete with a second on the way.
This set is for Spaponth, and I'm spoilering it because it's all about saving that screen realty.

Those are pretty good vectors! The only issue is the hands look a bit large.

They are large indeed. I actually got the basic outline for the people through half tracing, half eyeballing an image from torchlight 2, and the characters in that game have big hands.
