Leave. For it is a whimsical place, and Urist is not fond of whimsy. In fact, he even doubts the existence of dragons, even though his beard still smoulders from the last attack.

More to the point, WWUD if the entire Pokemon league were after him.

Go on as usual and mine the entire world down to semi-molten rock. Dwarves are already the only race that can permanently alter the world in the from of mining.

Order them to dig, if they can they shall be allowed into the fortress as second class citizens, if they fail send them to the !!SCIENCE!! facility.

WWUD if a dragon kicked him and his people out of the mountainhome while the elves just watched and now he had to rely on a dirty old guy who claims to be a wizard and thievius gnome?
