I'm reading posts from abandoned Fallout forum Duck and Cover, particularly posts from Fallout 3 and New Vegas' release dates. Nothing is sweeter than finely-aged butthurt, and the sheer volume and intensity of circlejerk over Fallout 2 (and 90's gaming in general) is awe-inspiring.

Don't know about that. TBH I've never felt the least interest over the "new" fallout games, whereas I loved the originals.

Part of it might be that the setting only gives material for so many stories, though.

I've heard that the last one has some kind of sandbox fortress building thing, which might be interesting, though.

I just watched a fireworks show in front of the city hall. The choice for music? 1812 Overture. There were some V shapes, but the music stopped before they got to the part where the city hall explodes.
