I kinda thought "rubber" was UK slang, because I've never actually HEARD/READ any one say it, not even on television/ the internet, everything I've read or heard with a few exceptions has said condom

Johnny is British slang for a condom.

Johnny definitely isn't a term you'd hear in Australia for that. Neither is "Rubber"though it's more plausible than Johnny.

franger (plural frangers)

The one good thing about "franger" is that it's clearly 100% unambiguous compared to the other choices.

Car advert in the US told me to support two teams that have already been knocked out of the World Cup.

Further amusing because it’s a car company from one of those countries that has been knocked out.

Like the UK, In Australia, we don't call Condom's "rubbers" we call them "condoms". Nobody says "erasers" either, we say "rubbers".
I don't know about that, I call them erasers and everyone seems to understand.
Probably a deeply-buried subconscious holdout from that time in primary school when the word "rubber" briefly meant a penis rather than an eraser, and to misuse it in front of one's peers was to die spectacularly of embarrassment.

...Also, I thought a "franger" was someone from the wasteland Frankston.

... how in the name of the wee man (pun intended) did you kids see a connection between rubber and penis?

But then what do you call anger towards a friend?
