Now, I am not a chemist, so I might be making this shit up (as all good Physicists do), but as water has an -OH group, couldnt we call it Hydronol?

That's pretty much what I said in the above post. Except both are bullshit, because -ol suffix means a hydroxyl group attached to a carbon atom.

But, another good one would be diprotium oxide - protium is the name for the plain ol' isotope of hydrogen. The mono- in Hydrogen Monoxide was unnecessary anyway.

Time for a scene in a movie where the bad guy described his superweapon, using a bunch of terms that basically mean he put a lot of water in a jug.

Well, it still beats a neutrino cannon in effectiveness by a large margin.

"Now I will fire my cannon!"
"Oh nooooo. ...have you fired it yet?"
"Yes I have, can't you see the havok these neutrinos are wreaking upon your country from my satellite, Mr President?"

And somewhere a physics teacher is watching the television broadcast an laughing at memories of the one student who did naught but piss around all the time.

If the neutrinos aren't working, you just need to fire more of them.

They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

Sure, they may interact only rarely, but if you get a dense enough stream, no problem! Plus, imagine the penetration depth on something like that. Now all you need is a directional star, and some manner of neutrino lens to get the cross-section of the beam to about the width of a pencil tip. That might do the job, give or take a few dozen orders of magnitude.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Oh right, I forgot. Zerg military strategies.

Hey, Zerg is a carefully constructed race that requires a deep understanding of unit composition, timing windows, cost effective counters and dammit I can't do it! I just can't keep a straight face... MOAR ROACH!!!

Aw man I thought you were talking about the lore for a moment there.

I love the Zerg lore. If I could be any race, I'd totally be a Zerg overmind without any species besides the "infest and suck out DNA" little worm thingy.

Then go to South America and nom nom nom on all the wildlife there.

There isn't one that would make sense, but the ratio is density.
She must have lots of mass, if she's that dense.

Technically she could just as well be average-mass, but very, very small.

Did she happen to be wearing a Gravity Brassier?
Yes that is the first thing I thought of. I'm sorry.

I was playing Adventurer mode and I had a knife stuck in my upper body that I thought sounded cool, and my friend told me- "If there's a knife stuck in you, how are you breathing?"
I really said the dumb part.
"it hit me in my lungs so it made an air hole."
