Highmax, you've been on it for a while now. Are you sure you don't want someone else to take a go at it?
I've been proven too busy. I'm gonna have to step down.

Needless to say, my attempts at tinkering with the forumite soul failed. It always went down with Sprin killing us all when I went to break the siege when I DID try things... (He mined out the hole and then enemies started pouring in to the fort)

Jee wilikers, I think Highmax is near invulnerable, must have been dunked in the river styx like achilles was.
Just make sure he wears a boot.

This is a dwarf. It is decorated with dwarfiness and menaces with spikes of Brit. Engraved on the dwarf is an image of a dwarf digging a hole. This relates to the digging of a hole by Honeydew the dwarf in 2011.

As of now I am opening the doors to anybody willing to save this fortress from fps death by any means necesaary (yes even cheats).

The prize is either an extra turn or to be put in the hall of Necrothreat Legends if you provide a decent story.

Alternatively anything else that is in my power and reasonable.

I tried making the forumites better, and that didn't work.

Perhaps making the enemy weaker? Maybe also use a buttload of traps?

Also, the FPS wasn't a problem for me; it's actually how fast DF runs for me.

My problem is I don't have time since I'm rolling two jobs.

I can say this from my observations:

- trolls will dart inside when you breach, but the army will stay there
- the army has fireball throwers
- they Rez their dead often. I killed a lot, but got only a net kill count of 50 out of 400
- FB are not an issue
- the place is a sodding maze. Expect to get lost
- we're cut off from the forges still

Oh, and none of our soldiers are armed properly. They'll grab some random junk in the process of taking up arms. They're also inactive...

Whoever takes the save (Gwolfski or whoever) there's a mechanic I think who's an adept or somewhere around there Swordsforumite. I request that that forumite be forumited as Highmax

Whatever any of you do, as long as it saves the fortress from FPS death, it works. In the worst case scenario, it will just have to die via written story for which I may have an idea how to accomplish if we get to that point.
