It stands for Chinese Fire Drill. The term seems to have seeped over here from other forums. Explanation of the term as it applies in Mafia here. Basically a last minute rush to lynch someone at the end of the day. I'm learning now that the term can be considered derogatory, there's nothing "Chinese" about it, it's just using that as a shorthand for chaotic situation in the same manner as Chinese whispers.

I was hoping that anyone paying attention would assume I misspelled affections, beecause I only found out what it meant 5 minutes before that.

We all pretend to be something in game. It's just one of those ideas is more pretend than the other. ;)

so it's a bit hard to figure out.
It's a double-edged sword. The better you get at looking Town, the better you need to be at being Town, though.. It sort of reinforces itself, too, I suppose.
