Also not certain why the crew would've abandoned it, though it is crashed, so they probably had to. Not sure why they didn't scuttle or booby trap it, though. I wonder if ratlings would be willing to join the Greater Good if a world the Tau grabbed had some. Ogryn probably wouldn't, but ratlings seem a bit more flexible.
