Weird dream where the missus answered the phone while we were out on the sidewalk checking the mail, she hands it to me, I do my usual gravel voice thing.
'Hullo? Who's dis?'
"Uh yeah, hello sir, we were calling about a gym opportunity due to xanax"
'Isn't dat does pills what makes ya brain less whacky?'
"Sir, I'm not sure?"
'How would you even do that, make tiny little weight racks, how would pills use them, how would that even work?'

Then I woke up because I had to whizz apparently but he was calling me Sir again and I was about to tell him:
'Enough with the Sir stuff, makes me sound like my father, call me Mr. Sir, Mr. Big Sir, Sir for short.'

So I was laughing and trying to keep from splashing anywhere.

That sounds like a great book character.

I should probably record myself doing the voice, it's been my default "unwanted phone call" voice since my voice changed. Just a throat full of gravel and lots of "huh, didn't catch that chief, hard to get my pants down with one hand" type of shit.

Quote from: From a let's read of some of HP Lovecraft's work
Fun fact: Lovecraft came to The United Amateur's attention after the editor read a letter Lovecraft had written to another fiction magazine, complaining about how empty and insipid their romance stories were. Lovecraft's letter provoked a storm of responses from both defenders of those stories, and those who agreed with him, and apparently United Amateur's head honcho thought Lovecraft showed promise as a writer based on his critique. UA reached out to him, and "The Alchemist" received its first printing.

In other words, Lovecraft first got published by starting a flame war in the comments section.
Got a chuckle from me, anyway. The read thing itself you can find by googling that last sentence with quotes around it.

Ahaha, I just realised two Irish republican catholics are flirting with me. When both sent fb messages almost simultaneously.

I can't pinpoint exactly why I laughed so hard, but it probably had something to do with how my parents would react if they knew.

Flirting with bots is a sin against God.

But I also have an Amazonian princess asking me to buy her plane fare over. And it's only £10 000! What could be sinful about that?
